is planning some great trips this year! Read on....
The first trip is set for Vail, Colorado
December 10-14, 2009 (Thursday to Monday). We fly
direct out of Mitchell/Milwaukee airport to Denver. There is no official sell
price yet - but I can tell you it’s around $700. Included is 3 of 5 day
lift tickets, condo lodging, transfers, club party and round trip air on
AirTrans. I had Bruce Kirchgessner
volunteer to be the trip leader for

The second trip is for Breckenridge, Colorado.
The dates as of now are, February 7-14, 2010
(Sunday-Saturday). The flights are currently direct, non-stop out of O’Hare.
However, we might get flights out of Mitchell/Milwaukee instead. Milwaukee
flight information was not available yet for those dates at the time of this
article. Trip will include 3BR/3BA condo lodging, 5 of 8 day lift tickets for Breck, Keystone & A-Basin (2 of your 4 days can be used at Vail or Beaver Creek,
but transportation is not provided), ground transfers, club party and round trip
air. Again, we do not have an official sell price but cost will be around
$1,065. We will need a trip leader (or leaders) for this, so please contact me
if interested.
The third trip is Chicago Week for 2010 – in Park City, Utah.
It is set for March 20 - March 27,
2010. Sitzmark has reserved 24 spots with lodging at convenient and beautiful
Park Street Station condos. Price will be $1340.
As usual, Sitzmark will be doing a
Midwest trip or two as well. Information is still being gathered at this time on
a few favorite destinations. At the top of the list is Powderhorn over the
MLK Jr. weekend in January (Friday-Monday). Other places being considered
are the ever favorite, Marquette, MI. and the newly expanded, Indianhead Mtn.,
Both are in the U.P. which has always provided us with reliable snow conditions.
Rick Olson is possibly going to be a trip leader on one of the trips, but we
could really use a few others to step up. I myself will run and co-run one or
two trips, depending on my personal schedule. Please make sure to come to
the next meeting on August 5th to find out more about our winter trips. Most or
all should be officially open by the 1st meeting in September (Sept. 2nd).

Sign-Up
Your name will be put on a trip sign-up sheet only when accompanied by
payment in full, or a minimum initial deposit as follows:
Payment Schedule
Balance due on trips must be paid according to the published payment schedule or
earlier. Final payment is to be at least four(4) weeks preceding the trip's departure date
or earlier if the individual trip contract so specifies. If you do not make payments when
required, your name will be dropped to the bottom of the waiting list.
Waiting List
Your name placed on a trip waiting list only when accompanied by a deposit. The
deposit will be held by the trip leader until you clear the waiting list and are
added to the trip sign-up sheet.
Waiting list names are taken on a first-come,
first-served basis. Should trip openings occur, positions are offered in the
same order as names are entered on the waiting list. If the trip leader cannot
contact you, he/she will call the next person. Once an individual on the
waiting list agrees to go on the trip, he/she assumes all responsibilities of
a person on the trip sign-up sheet.
Cancellation
To cancel, you must inform a trip leader. All cancellations will incur a charge of
$10.00 for a week end trip and $50.00 for a week long trip plus any unrecoverable cost incurred by
the Club because of the cancellation. If you cancel and a replacement is found, you
will receive a full refund less the cancellation fee.
If you cancel and a replacement is not found, you are
responsible for any penalties incurred by the club.
Refunds
No refunds will be paid until the trip has
been completed. If a trip shows a profit of over $10.00 per person or more, a refund will be issued to the
participants at the end of the ski season in the form of a credit towards
another Sitzmark event.
